Our rooms reflect the essence of why people love to visit Tulum. However, if you are looking for typical concrete block hotel construction with air-conditioning and in-room television, then you may not enjoy Tulum and La Zebra. Playa del Carmen and Cancun have resorts with these types of amenities.
Every Sunday night we have a live Salsa band and party. The band starts at 8pm, and finishes at 11pm. Guests are all gone from the premises by 12am. It is a lot of fun, but it is noisy in the rooms until the band stops. If you want only tranquility on your vacation, then avoid Sunday nights when making your reservations. Many of our guests discretely sun bathe and swim in some state of undress. We are fine with this, as long as it is discrete. The beach is long and deserted to the south of us, and so guests who really want to go naked all the time tend to wander down the beach a bit. Tulum is a good place to learn kiteboarding. We can arrange lessons for you a few hundred yards down the beach from La Zebra. We welcome families at La Zebra. However most of our rooms have King beds in them, more suitable for couples. The Master suite and Owners suite can accommodate a family with children. Rooms 8 & 9 have 2 full size beds each. We also manage a beach house 2 miles down the road which is perfect for families, or for truly romantic getaways! |
