Learn to Salsa, get a workout and impress your friends!
Icy cold margaritas, swaying coconut palms and aquamarine waters lapping white sand beaches might just make you want to break out your dancing shoes!. So we have opened the La Zebra Salsa School with daily private lessons on our beach deck. After a week of lessons you will be ready to dance at our Sunday night Salsa party with the all the locals.
Just book your lessons ($25 per hour per person for 2 instructors) and our head instructor Emmanuel Tabares will take you on a journey of Latin dance! We also offer a free lesson on our deck on Sundays at 6pm.

Night Life

Friday night: Don’t miss out on the legendary ÒFiesta en la PlayaÓ party at Mezzanine, a few miles up the road towards the ruins for biggest bash of the week, as local and visiting DJs hit the decks for some sizzling house beats and slow groove sounds.

Sundays at La Zebra: Sundays at La Zebra: Join the Tulum crowd and feast on our house specialties of banana leaf wrapped pit roast lamb and pulled pork tacos. Then let the sounds of our resident Salsa band wash over you and get you into the Caribbean swing of things down on the beach deck. Dinner reservations recommended from 6pm, with the live music and DJ from 8pm to 12pm every Sunday.

Town: There are a number of restaurants and bars in town to try, if you can get your self motivated to leave the beach! Ask at reception for recommendations and reservations.

Kiteboarding Lessons

Harness the powerful Tulum trade winds and take to the ocean on a kiteboarding adrenaline ride. Learn from expert instructors at your own level the theories and techniques in the ideal setting of Tulum’s long beaches. With a week of lessons (weather permitting) you will be roaring across the waves.

Scuba Diving Lessons and Tours

Dive into Tulum’s crystalline waters and explore the offshore reef or slip into the depths of a subterranean cenote for a magical cave diving tour.

Fishing

Cast your rod and reel, and get set to connect with nature on a guided fly fishing tour deep inside the Sian Ka’an wilderness, or deep sea fishing off the reef in the Caribbean Sea.

History buffs journey to the heart of the Mayan kingdom at the ruins of Chichen Itza and Coba. Or stick close to home and explore the beachfront ruins of Tulum just a short ride away from La Zebra.
